Another free game from GMA! GMA Solitaire is the standard seven-stack tableau form of Solitaire, but with a twist. At a cost of points, the game allows you to cheat and get hints from the game. The game has 3D card sounds and provides direct access to Jaws, Window Eyes, and Microsoft SAPI.

June 2004

Lone Wolf version 3.5 is now available. Have you had trouble with Lone Wolf working well with your screen reader? This release should solve the problem. The upgrade is free for those who have purchased version 3.0 or later. For those who use Jaws and are running version 3.22, there is no advantage in upgrading to the new version, since all the changes in the new release are to improve the way Lone Wolf works with screen readers and Microsoft SAPI. Jaws already works seamlessly with Lone Wolf.

Why should I upgrade?

You will want to upgrade:

In the new release, there are four methods of working with speech in Lone Wolf.

  1. Direct to Jaws. This allows Lone Wolf to work directly with Jaws.
  2. Direct to Window Eyes. This allows Lone Wolf to work directly with Window Eyes.
  3. Use of the Microsoft SAPI interface. This allows Lone Wolf to send all game output to MS SAPI. This will enable Lone Wolf to work for any user, regardless of screen reader since it does not need a screen reader to work.
  4. Classic Lone Wolf mode. If you are happy with the way Lone Wolf works with your screen reader, you will want to select this method.

Note that this release will require a new product key. If you have version 3.0 or later, there is no charge for the new key. Use the built-in Ordering Wizard to request your key replacement.

April 2004

GMA Tank Commander Version 1.1 is now available. This release includes a server-based high scoreboard, faster mission loads, some new features, and many bug fixes.

Note that this release will require a new product key. If you have version 1.0, there is no charge for the new key. Use the built-in Ordering Wizard to request your key replacement.

As well, GMA has released a couple of free games. The first is Mine Buster. This game of logic is based on the Microsoft Minesweeper game. You must move through a minefield testing the area for mines. If you use your head, you can usually clear the minefield and come out alive. Try to beat your best time.

The second game is a sophisticated dice-rolling program. It is good for complex games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Yahtzee, and Dice Poker, along with much simpler games as well. GMA has thrown in a Yahtzee Excel spreadsheet for those people who would like to use the dice roller for this purpose.

The new exciting GMA Tank Commander is now released!

GMA Tank Commander is a real-time, surround sound, fast-paced, strategic modern day tank game. With two modes, tank simulation and arcade mode, the game should appeal to both types of game players.

GMA Tank Commander pits you against a numerically superior force. You must move through the game by successfully completing each mission that is radioed to you. You initially land on the southern coast of an enemy held peninsula and you are required to make your way north through six sectors of enemy held territory. If you are successful, you and other surviving friendly tanks will be picked up on the northern coast of the peninsula by your tank transport.

You are equipped with standard shells, armour piercing shells, guided missiles, cruise missiles, interceptor missiles, a machine gun with armour-piercing rounds, a supply of proximity triggered mines, and a quantity of smoke for defensive purposes.

When the game begins, you, your crew, and your technologically superior tank will be dropped on the enemy's beach. Your mission is to attempt to weaken the enemy in its own backyard.
